First day in school

We are all excited ... Yaashinee woke up in the morning, took her shower and dressed up in her new uniform... today is the first day of school. We.. as in me, hubby and my mom (of course she is not gonna miss this day) are all prepared to send our princess to school.... I guess it was us who were more nervous and excited compared to the little girl in the uniform...

I had to snap picture of this historical day.. and yes.. my vain little lady was posing for each snaps like she was prepared for modelling school... hahaha....

We reached the school on time, she went straight to the class she was in yesterday, put down her bag and sat on the chair nearest to the teacher. We were happy to see her adapting so well and we were preparing to leave... and then... she stood up. The first thing which came to my mind was that... she is going to come out and say "lets go back"... or "amma come inside". But she walked straight to her bag, carried it to the teacher and asked for her book. huh!!! what a relieve that was... With that we said bye and left.... she waved bye.. and continued with her colouring...... My princess has started her first step to the journey of growing up...

Yaashinee starts school...

My little girl has started her nursery... I had been wondering on how she will be adapting to the new life but she proved that she is brave, independent and happy without me even in a new place like her nursery. While i was registering her yesterday, she had wondered off by herself to the classrooms... I guess she is excited, with all the little kids waving at her.... She came back into the office and saw her new uniforms in my hand and had insisted on putting it on... Oh how adorable.... !! My little girl.... i remembered the days when she was a teeny weeny little thing....

As i finished putting on her new uniform, she ran back to the classroom and sat beside the teacher... she was asking for a book to colour..... I didn't let her stay there the whole day though... i told her that she would start school tomorrow and she happily followed me back after waving goodbye to her newly acquainted friends.
